- Ideally, you should aim for a total of 150 minutes per week of moderate to rigorous physical activity. This is equal to 22 minutes of activity every day, or 30 min of activity five (5) day per week, or 50 min of activity 3 days per week. GlucoseZone has workouts of varying time lengths to support all of these frequencies of workouts.
- If you currently do not work out, congratulations for taking the first step! We are here with you each step of the way and have created fun, interactive content to make exercising enjoyable. Start yourself slow and at your own pace, and start to increase the number of days you are working out.
- Some ideas to increase exercise during the day:
- Take walks at work whether it's at lunchtime or for a break
- Stand up every few hours and stretch or walk around the office
- Give yourself 30 minutes in the morning to set your day right or after work to wind down a bit and take a walk or do some yoga/stretching
