If your blood sugar is below the GlucoseZone, we recommend eating a healthy fast acting carbohydrate like a piece of fruit, some fruit juice, or a granola bar. Please retest after 15 minutes and then proceed with workout. If your blood sugar is above the glucosezone please do some light aerobic work like walking on a treadmill for 20 minutes and then retest. Always follow your Healthcare providers guidelines for treating low or high blood sugars and if your blood glucose readings habitually remain out of the recommended range that you were educated on, contact your health professional to discuss what you should do.
